I took these images in Salem in the gardens of the Ropes Mansion and the house of Seven Gables. Dreaming of another trip to the Witch City.

The air thick in that early-summer way.

Their June wedding at Windrift Hall was small immediate family only ceremony, dinner under the pavilion with close friends, portraits taken slowly while the clouds kept moving.

There’s something about Hudson Valley light in June. It doesn’t rush you. It lingers.

These were photographed on 120 film and digital because I wanted the softness of the landscape to feel the way it actually did.

Quiet. Textural. Alive.

June at Windrift Hall felt like a moving landscape.

Sun spilling across the fields.
Clouds rolling in soft and heavy.
A brief summer rain that passed just quickly enough to leave everything glowing.

They traveled here to Windrift Hall in Coxsackie, New York for something intentional. Immediate family only. An intimate dinner inside the barn. Long tables, slow conversation, no performance. Just presence.

There was a subtle cinematic thread woven through the day. Not a theme in the obvious sense but in the way the land held them. Wide skies. Saturated greens. Wind catching fabric. It felt like stepping into a Studio Ghibli frame expansive, quiet, deeply human.

Windrift Hall is one of my favorite Upstate New York wedding venues for intimate, destination gatherings like this.
