They frequently host exciting events that give you a way to kick back, have a great time, and enjoy some exceptional drinks. They take this same level of expertise to their private parties, offering an effortless wedding you are going to remember for the rest of your life. The combination of rustic charm and modern amenities makes this the ideal spot for your day!
Details of the Grounds
Saratoga Winery is an expansive space ready for weddings of all sizes! While I have gotten the chance to document a pretty iconic microwedding here, it can work with you to host parties with up to 1,500 guests. They have several spots you will be able to use for your day. Most couples choose to use the picturesque exterior for outdoor ceremonies. They have an open clearing perfect for this part! A simple wooden fence runs the length of this area with a dense forest just beyond the barrier. This location puts you out amidst nature without any of the inconveniences. Once you have a shiny new ring on your finger, it’s time for your cocktail hour. The patio around the barn is the best spot, and you can put up an event tent for some added shade.
For microweddings, you can use The Barrel Room. This intimate room can host up to 45 guests and features wine barrels stacked on the walls. For larger celebrations, you can rent out the Adirondack-style event space. This classic red barn features reclaimed wood paneling on all of the walls and cozy string lights to illuminate the cathedral ceilings. If you would prefer an outdoor reception, you can work with the venue to create the space that suits your party.
Photography Opportunities
Saratoga Winery is a lovely space that will shine throughout all of your wedding portraits. The barn offers a few photo opportunities you just can’t get anywhere else! The interior has a spiral staircase leading up to the balcony. Not only is this a great spot to sneak a kiss, but also a great way for your photographer (hint, hint) to get a good aerial shot of the crowd. I also love using the pristine exteriors for your portraits!

A Real Saratoga Winery Wedding
The micro wedding reception I shot recently at The Saratoga Winery was for a sweet couple who were married in May. The weather was perfect – sunny with a gentle breeze. They had their beloved dogs as their “Dogs of Honor,” which was a lovely touch. Lauren and Adam are both dog lovers. We snapped a few shots in their neighborhood where they met during the COVID pandemic before heading over to the Winery.
